DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF
CONGO

pray for William & Cathie Rew,
currently in the UK, as they are both
experiencing various health problems.
Willie has hospital appointments planned
with a view to further treatment.

repatriated to Northern Ireland from South

remember her in prayer as she travels
this long distance in her weakened state.
ASIA
Peter Ferry
has advised that three brothers from a
country he visits have been arrested. A
short time later one was released, but the
other two remain in custody. One is a
director of a Christian organisation and the
other is a pastor of a church. Please
pray for these men and for all the
Lord’s people in this troubled land.
BRAZIL
Walter Alexander
has been unwell for the past few weeks, and
has had various tests to try to
diagnose
the problem. He has had to cancel travelling
engagements for October, but is managing to
carry out his local responsibilities, Bible
School and the radio programme. Please
pray that he will receive the correct
medical care and for a sense of the Lord’s
presence and peace at this time.
PARAGUAY
Give thanks that on
6th October the assembly members at
San Bernardino were able to celebrate
the 50th anniversary of the building of
their hall, and pray for the
believers to continue faithfully in their
work for the Lord.
FRANCE
Mike and Alison Packer
wish to thank
everyone for their prayers for Denison.
The latest news is that the operation went
well. He is sitting up in a chair and is in
no pain or discomfort. An MRI scan will
reveal the measure of success of the tumour
removal. Please also pray for
Alison, who has had some health issues
in recent months. Thankfully, the cause of
the problem has been found, so please
pray for a full recovery.
