Ken
and Christine Cowell request
prayer for next
Sunday afternoon, 28th
January, when the assembly will have their annual
church meeting, called
Vision
2007. Their theme for this year is
Growth, so they are
looking to God for growth in every aspect of the work. They
are also thinking of building a larger hall, as their
current building is too small.
Pray that they will
know the Lord’s will in this matter. Also next Sunday they
will be having an English service in the evening, and
prayer is requested
that many of their English contacts will attend.
MALAYSIA

that he is breathing quite well, and is in no pain. Please
pray that this will
be sustained. He is receiving very good medical care
BAHAMAS
Mark Lacey returned to the
Haven on
Monday 22nd and asks
us to pray that those
desperately needing help will soon know of the Haven’s move
and find their new premises. He says they will be ordering
new machinery for the workshop and would appreciate
prayer that they
would obtain government permission to import this duty-free,
as it would save them 50% of the cost.
BOLIVIA
Mario and Helen Ponce advise that a serious situation
has arisen in Cochabamba
due to political tensions. Over the last few days, large
numbers of country folk have been coming into the city and
protesting about the new mayor. Roads have been blocked
making travel difficult, and there have been two deaths as
well as over 200 wounded in the rioting.
Mario and
Helen are staying
indoors and say they have a good supply of food. They have
had to cancel the meetings for the present. Please
pray that the
believers will be kept safe, and that a peaceful solution
will soon be found.
AUSTRIA
Rosemary Atkinson had major surgery on 23rd January
and expects to be in hospital for approximately ten days.
Please pray that the
outcome will be positive.
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
Colin and Rosemary Sheldon’s
son Peter was
called Home following a seizure on Tuesday 16th January.
Please pray that the
Lord will comfort the family in their sorrow.
