CANADA
Peter Smith continues with his Tent Meetings at
Port Coquitlam, 20
miles east of Vancouver.
FRANCE
Danielle Gilbert (Concarneau) requests
prayer for an
evangelistic youth group which is with them until the
30th July. The local authorities have allowed them to
hold two afternoon open-air sessions, when members of the
group will sing, mime and bring God’s Word to the people of
the town. Please pray
for a good interest and that contacts will be made during
these events.
ITALY
 Leo
and Angela Isac (right) request prayer for the
GLO team at
San Miniato
(Tuscany) until the
30th. July. They
then move on to Enniscorthy,
in the Republic of Ireland, where
Leo has been asked to
cover the Bible teaching for the
GLO team there, from
4th-18th August.
Please pray for
physical strength and for safety as they travel to different
areas of work.

be baptised in the sea on
29th July. Being in such a public place, these
occasions always create a lot of local interest, so please
pray that folk will
be challenged by the truth of the gospel.
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
Noel and Liza McMeekin are holding a Holiday Bible
Club for a week, commencing
23rd July, in
Courtown, Co. Wexford.
Last year, an average of 100 Roman Catholic children
attended, so please pray
for a similar response this year, and that the Lord will add
His blessing to all that is said and done in His Name.
NORWAY
Nat and Jennifer Rodgers are currently in Northern
Ireland as Jennifer’s
mother has suffered a heart attack and is quite poorly.
Please pray for them
at this time.
LOCAL
David Reed (Sunderland) is the planned speaker in the
Gospel Service at
6:30 pm after the Open Air
at 5:30 pm.
OTHER LOCAL NEWS
The
North East Christian Camp
is being held at Broomley Grange, Stocksfield (15 miles west
of Newcastle). The speaker is
Stephen Clegg. Please
pray for his crucial
role to the camp, and that the weather will be suitable for
the many outdoor activities that are planned.
The Cleveland Show has been
cancelled due to Stewart’s Park being waterlogged.
Alan Barber and
Robert Plant were
planning to be there with the Gospel Trailer.
From the
30th July to 3rd August Alan
Barber is taking the “Word
of Life” camp
at Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire.
