Life has been described as being like a journey, traveling through a wonderful world, yet soon discovering that all is not well. A world capable of providing plenty for everyone - yet with one half of mankind starving. A world marked by discontent, with a great deal of suffering and sadness. A world burdened with anxiety due to worries about unemployment, inflation, pollution, etc. etc.

Many people try to bury their heads in the sand and don’t want to think about it, but life goes on and we cannot always avoid basic questions like, “Where are we going?”, “Why am / here?”, “What’s the purpose of it all? “~ If we are arranging a trip somewhere - a weekend away, or a holiday, or even to watch the football - we plan and prepare. We consult travel brochures, train or bus timetables, check the car out, and of course we certainly know our destination! We realise the value of a map or a guide, and make all the necessary preparations - but for life’s journey many of us seem content to drift on - not knowing - or even caring! - what it’s all about or where it will end up. Whatever your age, we would like to tell you of a Person who knew what He was doing, where He was going, and demonstrated His care for us. We commend our Lord Jesus Christ to you from a personal experience. He said He was “the way” back to God, and He opened that way by dying on the Cross for our sin. Three days later He rose from the dead and today is in heaven. His desire is that that should be our destination too; that we should complete life’s journey with Him.
