JAMAICA
Please pray
for Winston Litchmore,
who was mugged last week as he went
up
the stairs to the office of Christian Missions. He was
attacked from behind and robbed of personal documents and a
small amount of cash. It appears that the attacker trailed
him from the bank, where he had been to conduct business. As
Winston was caught off guard, he fell down the stairs and
received a heavy knock and bruising to the forehead and
broke his right wrist quite badly. He was taken to hospital
for surgery last Friday 18th
May. Please pray
that the operation will have been a success and that he will
soon recover.
ITALY
Paul and Nesta Volle (Naples) (Montespoertoli) ask
for prayer as they
share the gospel at a local festival to be held from
26th May to 3rd June.
They have requested permission to place their book tables in
front of the church hall during this time.
SPAIN
Ken and Alison Barrett request
prayer for two house
parties. Alison has
just taken three senior citizens to a special week-long
camp, and next weekend, from
25th to 27th May, is the
Alcala/Azuqueca
church weekend away, with ministry from
Manuel Luna, a
national full-time worker.
Pray that this weekend will promote unity and vision
as the church faces new challenges.
They also ask
prayer for the
purchase of new premises for youth and social outreach. The
timetable with the banks and vendor is for exchange of
contracts at the end of May.
