Botswana, where he is taking gospel and
ministry meetings until

23rd July.

God that a girl has professed faith in
Christ.
ZAMBIA
Jean-Luc and
Rita Hainaut (Eliya) have had to
return urgently to Belgium, as
Rita’s
father is seriously ill. Doctors are
not expecting him to recover, so this will
be a very difficult time for them. Please
remember
Rita and her father in your
prayers.

INDIA
Ron Penny
(Bangalore) advises that
Lilo
is currently ill with dengue fever and has
severe pain in her joints. Please
pray
for her recovery, and also for
Ron
as he tries to manage a stream of visitors
who are due to stay with them over the next
few days.
Prayer
is also requested regarding the new computer
equipment for
Kollegal
School,
which has been delayed as parts are not
available. The children are missing 30
computer lessons a week.
Pray
that this situation will be resolved soon,
and also that a Superintendent will be found
for the Girls’ Home at
Kollegal.
Give thanks that
Ian
Elliott’s father is making a good
recovery so far, after his recent surgery.
ARGENTINA
Bobby and
Isabel Jack (Buenos Aires) report
that Argentina is currently in a state of
emergency due to an outbreak of swine flu
which has killed at least 60 people. All
public gatherings have had to be stopped or
reduced, so church activities have been kept
to a minimum with just a breaking of bread
and short ministry and prayer meetings.
Isabel has health problems that make her
vulnerable to the virus. Please
pray
that the virus will not continue to spread.
PERU
Luis and
Anne-Laure Mostacero (Trujillo) ask
us to pray
for the new module of the Bible school which
is running throughout this month.
Pray
for the 14 students as they study God’s Word
together.
FRANCE
Please remember in
prayer
Janice
Duffin (Aix-en-Provence), who is
spending time with her brother following the
loss of his wife earlier this year.
Pray
that she will benefit from this break and
also be a help to her brother and his
teenage son.
David and
Sheena Buchan (Bagnols sur Ceze)
request
prayer for several contacts in
Bagnols-sur-Ceze, who will be
followed up by elders in the church at Uzès.
At least ten people have indicated their
desire to continue coming to a fortnightly
home Bible study. Another eight wish to be
notified of special events, and there are
eight young people who could come to youth
events.
Alain and
Christine Monclair (Quimper Region)
ask for
prayer for
Alain’s
elderly parents. His mother is now bedridden
and in a long-stay unit, but is alert when
they pray
with her. However, his father is not a
believer and is very distressed by this
situation. Please
pray
for his salvation.
NORWAY
Nat and
Jennifer Rodgers (Skien) ask for
prayer
for a couple from Bergen who are
missionaries in Greenland.
Eivind
has recently been diagnosed with an
inoperable brain tumour. He and his wife
Liv
are in their early 50s and have three
children.
GLO
Please
pray
for the GLO
team working with the
Petite
Synthe assembly in
Dunkerque,
France, from
22nd to 31st July. They will be
involved in a five-day children’s club and
various outreach events, as well as
distributing 20,000 tracts around the area
and doing questionnaires in the street.
Pray
that the team members will be kept in good
health, adapt well to the local culture and
be effective in their witness.
