Prayer Requests for Week Commencing    28-03-2011

The following information comes mainly from the Echoes weekly prayer bulletin and further details can be found on their web site. Other prayer requests have come from direct communication with the missionary involved.  The prayer requests listed here are, as far as is sensibly practical, for activities that are happening on the particular week. A list of previous weekly Missionary Prayer requests can be found here.

The Assembly also, most months, publishes a monthly Missionary Prayer Newsletter, for prayer requests on a longer time-scale. Click here for the last monthly prayer newsletter.

ZAMBIA

Tim and Joy Beer (Loloma)  hold their first boys youth camp this week at Samafunda on 1st – 14th April.  They are expecting approximately 160 to attend. Prayer is asked for this camp and four other youth camps scheduled for the next few months.

Prayer is also asked for the daily running and maintenance problems at Loloma Hospital and Mission and for the gospel outreach in the villages on Monday’s. Dr Nkonde, a believer, is transferring from a government hospital to Loloma Hospital. Prayer would be valued for Dr Nkonde.

JAPAN

David and Esther Dexter (Miyazaki). ITALY

Giovanni and Hannah Donato (Siena) are holding a mission this week in Siena with the the University Christian Union. Each day there will be various evangelistic activities and meetings.  During the day they will be conducting questionnaires and giving out flyers. There is also an hour long meeting in a café where they will tackle different questions students ask and in the evening there will be other events. Prayer is asked that the Christian students involved will grow in confidence and that non Christians would come along to the events and seriously consider their relationship with God.
