REPUBLIC OF
SOUTH AFRICA
Paul
and Dorothy Grieve (Murchison) –
Currently assembly meetings are being led by
Ian Jackson
(Eastbourne?, and they have been
encouraged by the number of those gathering,
and being challenged by the messages.
Prayer
is asked for
Martin, who had previously turned
down invitations to attend the meetings but
has attended each meeting recently.
Prayer
is also asked for the men’s breakfast, where
usually about 60 men attend, 50% of these
being unsaved.
THAILAND
Peter and
Peggy Ferry (Phuket) –
Peggy
has recently been admitted to hospital with
back pain, preventing her from walking. An
MRI showed that a bone is pressing on the
nerves in the spinal canal and she needs
surgery to correct this.
Prayer
will be valued for them both at this time
(the surgery was due to have taken place 21st
April).
BRAZIL

and Brigitte
have a stand and look forward to meeting
present and former students, as well as
informing many others about the ministry of
the Emmaus

Yori (16yrs) who are preparing for
baptism in June.
Alison
Packer (Laval) has returned home from
hospital, and gives thanks for all those who
have been praying for her and the family,
especially during this particularly
difficult time. She is being looked after
by domiciliary nurses, and is still attached
to her intravenous feed for 14 hours per
day, although able to eat small quantities
of food. She will be having further tests
this week and would value
prayer
that another operation would be avoided.
