Brian Howden
returns to
Angola on
15th
November for 3 weeks.
Samuel
Simonyi-Gindele
from Canada is accompanying
him on this visit.
Samuel
and his wife are exercised about serving the
Lord in Angola and therefore would
appreciate
prayer that this trip would be used
of the Lord to guide them for the future.
TANZANIA
William
and Eunice Rea (Moshi)– This weekend,
William
is preaching at two churches, both of which
are in the Manyara region of central
Tanzania, a seven-hour drive away. A good
number of past, present and future
Berea Bible College students attend
these churches.
Pray
for help and for the Lord’s blessing.
ZAMBIA
Angela
Hannay (Hillwood) is suffering from
exhaustion and is taking time off from
normal responsibilities at the pharmacy at
Kalene
Mission.
Pray
for her and that someone will come forward
to take devotions at the School of Nursing
for a few weeks to allow her to recuperate
and recover fully.
ARGENTINA
Pray
for Bobby
and Isabel Jack as they travel on
Thursday to
Olavarria, 350 km south, for special
meetings. It will be a busy time as
Bobby
speaks about his
Tabernacle model in various places.
The first session on Friday will be an
introduction to the Pentateuch. On Saturday
there is a special presentation for
children, followed by one for young people.
Sunday will involve speaking at the breaking
of bread and giving ministry. Monday is a
holiday in Argentina, so they will be out
and about, but there will be time for a
message at the end of the day. Tuesday
morning will see them at a Christian
secondary school where
Bobby
will give a devotional, after which he will
take Religious Education classes for older
pupils. The challenge is the wide variety of
audiences.
Prayer would be valued for help and
that the Lord will speak to hearts.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Noel and
Liza McMeekin (Drum) ask for
prayer
for the many activities in which they will
be involved over the coming weeks.
Liza
and others are currently engaged in shoebox
work; pray
that bridges will be built in the community.
The calendar distribution to rural homes and
delivery of Christmas tracts to
Cootehill
homes will soon be under way;
pray
that folk will be receptive and think more
about the message of Christmas. Outreach
activities are being held in the assembly
over the Christmas period;
pray
that lives will be touched by the gospel.
Finally, preparation for the
Postal Bible School prize givings due
to commence in February has already started;
pray
that the Lord will go before and bless this
work done in His Name.
