BAHAMAS
Mark Lacey
has still not been able to return to
the Bahamas.
He has ruptured a disc and was to have an
MRI scan on Tuesday. On
Thursday
24th he will see the consultant to
discuss treatment.
CANADA
Peter Smith
this week is in
English
Point, Labrador, for another series
of Children’s Meetings. Last week he was at
Charlotte
Town, and over 30 children came plus
10 adults, a few of whom were unsaved.
His mother’s
operation went very well and she came home
late Monday afternoon. She appears to be
managing well on her own and so
prayer
is asked
that she'll make a complete and
successful recovery.
GLO
Please
pray
for the GLO
team starting next week in
Trujillo,
Peru, which runs from
26th
September to 10th October.
Pray
that the team members will be kept in good
health, adapt well to the local culture and
be effective in their witness.
ITALY
Adino
and Eleanor Ricossa (Mombello Monferrato)
would value
prayer
for the 26th
and 27th September, when believers
from the
Asti and
Brusasco
fellowships will be getting together for a
time of Bible teaching and fellowship.
Pray
that this will be a real blessing and
encouragement to everyone.
Adino
and Eleanor
also request
prayer for their friend
Elisabeth,
who faces another chemotherapy treatment
this Thursday, 24th September. Give thanks
for her strong faith in God.
NORWAY
Nat
and Jennifer Rodgers (Skien)
(left) ask for
prayer
for a special English service they will be
holding this coming Sunday, called “A
Walk through Romans”. They hope to
attract non-Norwegian speakers who may speak
English.
Please
pray
for Margaret
Hewitt (Norway), who recently
collapsed and was taken to hospital. She is
having tests to determine what the problem
is. Pray,
too, for her Sunday school children, who may
be without a teacher for a while.
LOCAL
"Coffee
and Chat" on each Wednesday
morning at 10:30 am.
Paul Jackson
(Harrogate) is planned to be with us
on Sunday
27th September at 6:30 pm for the
Gospel
Service.
