ANGOLA
Brian Howden
reports that
one of the two containers held up by
Customs at
Lunda has been cleared, but clearance
of the other container with the replacement
Land Rover is proving difficult. It needs
another inspection, and different documents
to be issued. Please
pray
that this second container will soon be
cleared by Customs; it has already been 2
weeks in the port and fees are mounting up
daily.
ZAMBIA
Medical
Missionary News have recently sent
over £40,000 worth of drugs to the hospitals
and clinics of Zambia. A significant
proportion of these have been donated by
pharmaceutical organisations. Please
pray
that the drugs will arrive safely and that
the clearance process through customs will
be straightforward.
CANADA
Peter Smith
asks for our specific
prayers
for a return visit to
Whitehorse, Yukon. He flies out on
Tuesday,
26th June for a 9-day visit. A room
has been booked at the Canada Games Centre
for 4 consecutive mornings and evenings (Mon.
2nd - Thurs. 5th July, DV) for
Children's Meetings in the mornings and a
Gospel Meeting at night.
Andreas
Kliver will be helping in the
preaching. Newspaper adverts are being
placed in 2 local Newspapers on 4 different
days, and invitations have been sent to
those who attended previously, and they are
hoping that 2 Radio stations will broadcast
the details.
IRELAND
Andy and
Gillian Shanks (Newcastle West) –
Please continue to
pray
for the ‘The
Ultimate Decision’ (gospel outreach
taking literature and materials to
Agricultural shows) at
Charlesville
Show, Co Cork from
23rd-24th
June. All shows in Cork last week had
to be cancelled due to heavy rain
conditions. In addition they would
appreciate
prayer for an application to the
Newmarket
show in July. This is a new venue and is
located in an area where there doesn’t seem
to be many believers.
OTHER AREAS
Jim McMaster
is currently in
Chicago
helping some local believers in
Gospel work in the area, although from what
he has seen, they don’t need help from him.
The Lord is blessing.
