Give thanks that
Eva Warke (Kayombo) has received the
‘all-clear’ from her consultant. She and
Emily Rowntree (right) hope to
return to Zambia on 19th March.
Pray for them as they travel and begin a
further period of service.
Kelvin and
Joyce Samwata ask us to pray for
the dedication of Ipusukilo Children’s
Trust, on the 17th March. The
first children will be brought into the
hostel on Thursday.
PAKISTAN
Please pray for
guidance and wisdom in decisions being made
at Kunhar Christian Clinic’s
Executive Board Meeting being held on
20th March. Also, pray for safety
for Liz Greig as she travels down to
Faisalabad to speak at two ladies’
meetings before Easter. Pray for her
preparation and that the ladies will be
blessed and encouraged as they meet
together.
AMERICAS
Pam Jewitt
(Mexico City) has returned to the UK this
week. She requests prayer for her
mother, who had a fall over the weekend and
has had surgery. Pray for Pam,
too, who is herself recovering from surgery
on her knee last month, as she cares for her
mother.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Please pray for
Noel and Liza McMeekin as they continue
with Postal Bible School prize-givings.
This Friday they will be in Fermoy
and Newbridge. Pray for safety
in travel and that the Lord will speak to
the parents and children on these occasions.
SPAIN
As one of the
board members of OM Spain, Ken Barrett
(Madrid) is due to travel to Thailand for
their International Leaders’ meeting from
20th to 26th March. The weekend after
that he is due to preach in Valencia.
Please pray that he will have the
necessary health and stamina, as he has only
recently returned from South America.
LOCAL
Coffee
& Chat on a Wednesday morning at 10:30
am. Please pray for the small
number who come along.
The Gospel Service
on Sunday 21st March is to be taken by
Andrew Lumsden (Redcar). Please
pray that God will help those who come
along to understand their need of a Saviour.
