Prayer Requests for Week Commencing: 07 - 11 - 2011

The following information comes mainly from the Echoes weekly prayer bulletin and further details can be found on their web site. Other prayer requests have come from direct communication with the missionary involved.  The prayer requests listed here are, as far as is sensibly practical, for activities that are happening on the particular week. A list of previous weekly Missionary Prayer requests can be found here.

The Assembly also, most months, publishes a monthly Missionary Prayer Newsletter, for prayer requests on a longer time-scale. Click here for the last monthly prayer newsletter.

Brian Howden returns to Angola on 15th November for 3 weeks. Samuel Simonyi-Gindele from Canada is hoping to accompany him on this visit, although at present he still does not have a visa. Samuel and his wife are exercised about serving the Lord in Angola and therefore would appreciate prayer that this trip would be used of the Lord to guide them for the future.

ALBANIA

Enris and Sylvia Nase (Tirana) seek prayer for the National Book Fair being held in Tirana this week. Please pray for Enris as he engages in conversations with those attending this event. He will be using this opportunity to distribute various books and gospel tracts, and also invitations to an evangelistic outreach event due to be held on Sunday 13th November. Please pray for meaningful conversations to be held and for lives to be touched by the gospel.

SPAIN

Ken and Alison Barrett - Prayer would be valued for Alcala church as they begin a ‘Christianity Explored’ course on Sunday. In addition, pray for Ken next Sunday as he speaks at another assembly in Madrid to promote the involvement of the city assemblies with the work of the Madrid Bible Training Centre. The centre needs new and next generation volunteers in the magazine publishing, teaching and archive sections of its work. May these occasional visits be used of God to move the assemblies into a new way of working together for the advance of the work beyond local concerns.

LOCAL

Coffee & Chat each Wednesday morning at 10:30 am.

Paul Jackson (Harrogate) is planned to be with us on Sunday evening for the preaching of the Gospel. Please remember in prayer.
