Prayer Requests for Week Commencing     07-02-2011

The following information comes mainly from the Echoes weekly prayer bulletin and further details can be found on their web site. Other prayer requests have come from direct communication with the missionary involved.  The prayer requests listed here are, as far as is sensibly practical, for activities that are happening on the particular week. A list of previous weekly Missionary Prayer requests can be found here.

The Assembly also, most months, publishes a monthly Missionary Prayer Newsletter, for prayer requests on a longer time-scale. Click here for the last monthly prayer newsletter.

FRANCE

Graham and Alison Black (Bouc Bel Air) request prayer for Gaelle who was due to be baptised on 13th March. The baptism has been postponed and now scheduled for May due to health problems and the possibility of surgery at the end of February.

Continuing prayer would be valued for the situation regarding a replacement studio recording technician.

Mike and Alison Packer would value prayer for an outreach evening at Laval church on 12th February, where a Christian doctor will be leading a conference debate on the subject of God and suffering.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Noel and Liza McMeekin continue the Postal Bible Prize givings at Dundalk and Newbliss (8th), Ballybay (9th), and Dublin-Blackrock, Swords and Longford (11th). They would value prayer.

Noel writes that a couple of people contacted him following the  radio broadcasts.  One was a Christian who needs help with  assurance, and the other man, Patrick, is searching for salvation, and  would like to meet up with him.  Noel has  sent him literature and intends  meeting with him soon.

ITALY

Alec and Patrizia Catchpole (Naples) - On Sunday, February 13th, three young mothers are to be baptised: Annarita, Antonella and Assunta. Antonella’s husband Nando has been attending the Sunday morning services on occasions and is showing interest. Please pray for them and pray that the Lord would speak powerfully to the friends and family invited.

LOCAL

Coffee & Chat each Wednesday morning at 10:30 am.

The Gospel Service next Sunday at 6:30 pm is to be taken by Alan Bowman of  Maddiston.
