CANADA
Peter Smith
is
running a
six day series of
Camp
Treasure Seekers in a Tent beside the
5th Avenue Gospel Hall in Portage, each
evening from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The 5th Ave.
assembly are particularly keen to see
families from the community attend. Please
pray for good weather for the week,
safety, many parents to join their children
and for a deep sense of the Lord's
presence and power as we seek to speak of
'God's Man & God's Tent' (Moses/Tabernacle)
and for His blessing in salvation.
EASTERN
EUROPE
Martin Baker
is in Sofia, Bulgaria, this week and
would value
prayer as he ministers the Word. He
returns to the UK
on 14th
July.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
John and
Linda Stanfield (Limerick) report
that Jackie,
who was mentioned for
prayer
last month, 15-06-09,
has now gone to be with the Lord. His widow,
Pauline,
recently attended a Sunday service and we
are asked to
pray that she will attend again. She
has promised to keep in contact with folks
at the church.
Colin and
Rosemary Sheldon (Dublin) will be
running two weeks of children’s meetings on
two caravan parks in
Newcastle,
County Down, from
11th-25th
July.
Pray for many children to attend and
that they and their parents will be touched
by the Lord.
ITALY
Leo and
Angie Isac (San Miniato) ask for
prayer
for an evangelistic campaign which is being
planned at
La Scala in Italy, from
15th-18th
July. This will culminate with the
baptisms of
Gina and
Vincenzo,
who were part of the discipleship group this
year, and
Amantina, a lady originally from
Albania.
SPAIN
Ken and
Alison Barrett (Madrid)
ask for
prayer for a national meeting of
Brethren type churches to be held in
Coruña
(North West Spain) from
8th-11th
July. Please
pray
for spiritual unity and wise decisions.
After this meeting
Ken
will travel to
Narón,
near Ferrol, to give a weekend of training
and orientation to an evangelistic team
being organised in conjunction with
Operation Mobilisation in Spain.
OTHER
OVERSEAS SERVICE
Charles
Morris (Greenvile, S. Carolina) will
be travelling to New York in July for the
graduation of over 30 students from the
Muller Bible College. This is the first
group to graduate and they want to go on to
do more advanced studies. Another group of
prospective students is lined up for the new
three-year course. Give thanks for these
encouragements and
pray
that the graduates will be blessed in their
future service for the Lord.
