ETHIOPIA
This year, the
annual leadership conference is being held
from
28th-30th August. Please
pray
for all those involved in the teaching, that
they will be given help, and
pray,
too, for those who attend, that they will
receive encouragement through having
fellowship together and blessing as they
study God’s Word.
ZAMBIA
Please
pray
for David
and Grace Croudace, who left on
Monday morning for a four-day teaching
conference on the border of
Mozambique.
They expect about 25-30 assemblies to
attend, coming from
Malawi
and
Mozambique.
David
is doing all the teaching in the mornings
and afternoons, so would especially value
your prayers. His fellow-worker
Keston
may be helping out in the evenings, and
Grace
will be teaching the believers some new
hymns. Pray
that those who attend will be greatly
encouraged and challenged to live for
Christ, and that those who are not saved
will be spoken to as well.
Pray,
too, that
David and
Grace
will be able to sleep well at night and not
be disturbed by rats or mosquitoes!
FRANCE
From
29th-31st
August,
Petite
Synthe assembly in
Dunkerque
are holding a special weekend of
prayer.
The ladies will pray on Friday afternoon,
the men on Saturday morning, the young
people on Saturday evening, and then after
the Sunday morning meeting the whole
assembly will be invited to stay to
pray.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Noel and
Liza McMeekin (Cootehill)
ask us to remember the
Northampton
Bible Study Weekend, which runs from
29th August.
Also, Noel
and Liza
have been encouraged to hear that a lady who
attended the Armagh Bible Club with her
children has trusted the Lord.
Praise
God for this, and
pray
that she will be strengthened in her faith.
SPAIN
Ken Barrett
(Madrid) asks for
prayer
for his four-day visit to
Zaragoza,
from 31st
August-3rd September. He will be
helping two local churches with evangelism,
arranged to coincide with the broader
outreach taking place during the
Expo Aqua
exhibition which continues until
mid-September.
Pray
for renewed strength for the believers after
a long and active summer.
GLO
Please remember
the GLO team
in Italy
(Potenza), which runs from
30th
August-13th September.
Pray
for safety of travel and good health for
team members, as well as for good working
relationships.
Pray,
too, for God’s blessing on the various
outreach activities taking place.

Morning each Wednesday at 10:30 pm. Please
ask the Lord that He will use this means as
a contact with the local community.
The
Open
Air witness is planned for Sunday at 5:30
pm.
Robert
Thompson (Forest Hall) is our planned
speaker for Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. It is
his first visit to us at Redcar and we would
value supporting prayer for him.
