ANGOLA

Please remember Brian Howden’s visit to Angola until the 29th November. His itinerary and Prayer Requests are shown here. He is currently at Cuilo (not shown on map). The Word has been taught in each location from early morning until late at night and we are asked to pray that it will be a blessing, and a help and encouragement to those who have gathered.

The means of Brian getting back to Luanda is still very uncertain and we are asked  to pray that he will be able to get a flight either through the diamond mine company planes, or via a military flight.  Failing this he will have to do the 18 hour solid drive up to Luanda in time for his flight out on Saturday night 29th Nov.

TANZANIA

Please pray for the 3rd Great Lakes Conference, being held this week at Berea Bible College, Moshi, Tanzania, from 25th-30th November. Pray that everyone will travel safely and enjoy the fellowship and challenges presented.

JAPAN

Ken and Christine Cowell (Kushiro) are giving thanks to the Lord that another member of the gospel choir has trusted the Lord! On Sunday night Miss Baba came especially to the church to see Ken, saying she wanted to become a Christian. After praying to receive Christ she wanted to know when she could be baptised! There is already a baptismal service planned in December, so please pray that Miss Baba’s preparation for baptism can be done in time so that she can be baptised at this time with others. In addition, Tomoe, a contact from the English service outreach, continues to attend the Bible study and seems close to trusting the Lord. Do pray that she will make a commitment in the Lord’s timing.

PHILIPPINES

Please pray for Jonathan Bradford as he teaches ‘Basic Doctrines’ to a group of 600 new students at Christ’s Commission Fellowship each Wednesday evening and Saturday morning throughout November.  

CANADA

Peter Smith  requests prayer for the children’s meetings in their second week at the small assembly of Port Alberni, Vancouver Island. Please pray that the local community will respond favourably and that the saints will have the encouragement of seeing many new recruits join their Sunday School.

MEXICO

On 28th and 29th November, a music seminar will be held in Orizaba, followed by a Christmas Carol Concert on the Saturday evening. Eglon and Judith Harris are expecting over 100 musicians and a congregation of at least 400. Please pray that this will be a God-honouring occasion. 

EASTERN EUROPE

Martin Baker is currently visiting assemblies in the Czech Republic to minister God’s Word. Please pray for him as he travels around and that the Lord will bless him and make him a blessing as he meets many folk. He returns to the UK on 1st December.

IRELAND

Noel McMeekin (Cootehill) would value prayers this week for the recording of four gospel messages for radio which will be broadcast in January.

LOCAL 

Please remember in prayer “Coffee & Chat” each Wednesday morning.
