REPUBLIC OF
SOUTH AFRICA
Rodney and
Joy Brown (Cape Town) will be
travelling to
Vredenburg
on the west coast this Saturday, for a week
of children’s outreach meetings and meetings
with adults. Please
pray
for a time of blessing as the Word of God is
preached.
At
the end of this month,
Paul Grieve
(Murchison) (left) will be
speaking at the annual
Men’s Week, which is a gathering of
Zulu men from assemblies in various parts of
the country, for five days of intensive
Bible study.
Pray that
Paul’s
teaching will be a blessing and a challenge
to those who attend, and that they will pass
on what they have learned to others.
RWANDA
Chrissie
Mulindabigwi (Kigali) (left)
asks for
prayer for the bi-annual women’s
seminar, which takes place from
Wednesday to
Saturday this week. The subject will
be “How
to disciple”.
Pray
that things will run smoothly and for safety
as many people travel to the Bible training
school for this event.
JAPAN
David Dexter
(Miyazaki) recently had a general
meeting of all the prison chaplains, which
was a helpful time. His next teaching time
at the prison is on
30th June.
He will be responsible for the whole hour,
as his colleague Al Juve will be away, so
would value
prayer.
SPAIN
Ken
and Carmen Stunt (Almazan) ask
prayer
for the
Soria assembly retreat being held in
Almazan
from 23rd
June to 4th July, for baptised
members. Immediately after that, the general
camp will begin, which provides a healthy
alternative to the excesses of the fiesta
season in
Soria.
FINALLY
Please
pray
for the three
GLO teams
starting next week: in
Johnstone,
Scotland, from 27th June to 5th July; in
Marseille,
France, from 29th June to 12th July, and
Fuorigrotta,
Italy, from 29th June to 9th July.
Pray
that the team members will be kept in good
health, adapt well to the local culture, and
be effective in their witness.
LOCAL
"Coffee
& Chat" each Wednesday morning at
10:30 am.
Stephen
Downs (Harrogate) is expected to be
with us next Sunday
for the preaching of the Gospel.
