TANZANIA
Steve
and Gill Davies (Dar-es-Salaam) –
The
Kid’s Clubs
at Oysterbay Police houses and WWT are well attended.
Pray
that the rainy season will not halt these activities and that the
children will not only have fun but understand the Gospel messages
given them.
ZAMBIA
Ian and Marilyn Campbell (Chingola)
would value
prayer
for a committed administrative person, with a vision for the Bible
Centre, a desire to serve the Lord, and a love for prisoners to join
the team at the Bible Centre. Please
pray
about this matter.
INDIA
Ron
& Lilo Penny (Bangalore)
write of plans to develop
Kollegal Girls Home. “By
faith, our
Kollegal Girls' Home
Trustees sanctioned the plan for a New School Building on the
existing property. New legislation, for all high schools, forces us
to expand our facilities which cannot be done in our old existing
classrooms. We need to start on the foundation
by April 1st.
Please
pray
with us and if you are led to support this and be involved in
shaping hundreds (thousands, eventually) of precious lives for the
Lord Jesus we will be so grateful. A
Brass Tacks
team
from UK inspected the site and approved our plans.”
BAHAMAS
Mark
and Carol Lacey
ask
prayer
as they prepare for the
OM Team Leaders
Conference in
April
held in Goa, India. This year wives and children are being invited.
Prayer
is asked that as they focus at the conference on ‘Christian
Marriage and Family Life Whilst in Service’
the Lord will minister, refresh and encourage the
families who attend.
CANADA
Peter
Smith
writes that during March
he will be focusing on preparing for the
Brandon Winter Fair,
that runs from
March 31st to April 5th,
DV. He also plans to set up two new computers they have purchased
for the PBS Centre. They would value
prayer
that this will go smoothly. Their home assembly
commences
three weeks
of adult
Gospel Meetings on March 16th
(with
Al Christopherson & Brian Kember),
It would be precious to see God's hand in blessing at this time too.
We look to One who alone is able to save!
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
John and Linda Stanfield (Limerick)
with the help of a volunteer team provide free meals
to approximately 60 people, twice a month at the assembly.
Pray
for opportunities to share the Gospel. In addition, John
continues with ‘street work’ each Friday in the city and asks
prayer
for encouraging conversations, and Linda,
along with
Gillian Shanks,
have held weekly ‘Parent
and Toddler’
groups since September 2013, and would value
prayer
that this ministry will grow and give opportunities to share the
Gospel message and invite parents to other activities within the
assembly.
ITALY
Erion and Victoria Pici (Marsciano)
–
Pray
for outreach work being carried out with a view to the possibility
of church planting in the town of
Assisi
(in Umbria). For several weeks a couple who have recently returned
from Bible School have involved the youth group in distribution of
evangelistic material around that area. In addition,
pray
that the English language services (3rd
Sunday of the month) and ladies’ meal, to be held on
8th
March
would encourage many to seek to know more of the
Gospel message.
NORWAY
Nat
and Jennifer Rodgers (Skien)
ask
prayer
for several contacts connected to the assembly.
Joanna,
a believer from India who is looking for employment in Norway to be
near her parents,
Dag,
a friend recovering after cancer treatment, and
Erland
recovering from brain surgery.
Pray
for
Nat
and
Jennifer
as they minister to these people.
Nat
also asks
prayer
for a young man he visits in prison and with whom he has had good
conversations and times of prayer.
Pray
that what this young man is hearing would lead him to
faith in Christ.
SPAIN
Tim
and Elena Glasscock (Salamanca) –
In parts of Spain open air activities have been hampered by fines
being imposed by the city council. A believer, fined 300 euros for
handing out tracts in the street has since obtained a licence to
distribute evangelistic literature, but only in an area away from
the centre of the city. Please remember this and other situations
like it in your
prayers.
OTHER SERVICE
Peter and Jenny Andrews (Rwanda)
– Please continue to
pray
for
Peter
who contracted pneumonia following recent surgery for colon cancer.
He is now out of hospital and recovering well at home.
Pray
that he would continue to make good progress and be able to receive
subsequent chemotherapy.
Pray
also for Jenny’s sister
Lana,
who is receiving treatment for bone cancer.
EMMAUS BIBLE SCHOOL
Prayer is particularly asked for:
¨ The
“Markers”
of the courses.
¨ The
Trustees
¨ For
the Lord’s
provision
and guidance
¨ Printing
of the Courses and other literature.
¨ For
the
prison ministry.
A visit from
Wesley Downs (Stockport)
on
Saturday, 8th March
at 4:00 pm and 6:15 pm.
Wesley
will be giving a report on the Lord’s work in which he is engaged,
and ministry of God’s Word.
