ARGENTINA
Heber and
Fiona Gallitto (Parana) are planning a two-week campaign over
Easter, called ‘Amazing
Grace’. They ask us to remember this in
prayer that literature they
need will be available.
BRAZIL
Jim
Jardine (Uberlandia) asks for
prayer as he takes on responsibility for teaching the adult
Sunday school class at Jardim
Patricia assembly over the next few months. Despite starting
at 8 am, this is always well attended by both Christians and
non-Christians. They will be following a course called ‘The Prophet
Elijah’, written by senior worker
Ken Jones.
Please continue to remember in
prayer
Harry and Jean Reid who are
in the Amazon region of Brazil
till the end of May. They plan to visit believers in the
regions of Manaus and
Santarem.
Pray for a time of mutual
encouragement and blessing.
JAMAICA
Please
pray for
Winston and Nurkle Litchmore
(left), who are returning to the UK for a further appointment
for Nurkle in April to have
medical treatment at Guy’s Hospital cancer clinic.
Please
pray that the treatment will be successful so she does not
have to keep travelling back and forth.
FRANCE
Please pray for a couple who attend a
Catholic Church, with whom Chris and
Michelle Hall (Chateau-Gontier) have contact through a Bible
study, that they will be led into full understanding and assurance
of salvation.
GREENLAND
Hans and
Jonna Sivertsen (Nuuk)are
concerned about a shortage of workers for the summer camps this
year, as some of those who normally help are unable to come. The
camps are due to take place from 4th
to 31st July. Please pray
that the Lord will provide for this need.
ITALY
Paul
and Nesta Volle recently had the joy of leading an old couple
to the Lord. Nello is 93 and
his wife Radiana nearly 90.
They have had contact with the gospel for many years, and when Paul
and Nesta visited them recently they were ready to accept the Lord.
Radiana prayed out loud on behalf of both of them, but Nello said he
too had prayed the ‘sinners’ prayer’ silently. Give thanks for this
encouragement.
PORTUGAL
Colin and
Grace Lovell (Sintra) request
prayer for two ladies who
were active in the church, but have been hampered recently by
serious illness. Alzira is
recovering from a stroke, and Carmen
has liver trouble and may need an operation. They are both key
workers in the ‘Fount of Hope’
project which the church has started in a rented house.
SPAIN
Tim and
Elena Glasscock (Salamanca)
ask us to pray for a seekers’
Bible study group which has recently been formed following an
evangelistic lecture organised by students at Salamanca University.
Give thanks that the students are keen to share their faith, and
pray that there will be many
fruitful conversations during the studies. |
