Addis,
around 50 teenagers are expected to attend a
programme to help them study the Bible and
mature in their spiritual lives. Please
pray
for these young people and for those leading
the sessions.
ZAMBIA

Samwata would value our
prayers
for some of his relatives who are very ill.
Please pray
that they will feel the Lord’s presence and
help in the coming days.
CHINA
Please
pray
for Christian workers as they distribute
millions of pieces of gospel literature that
have been especially prepared for the
Beijing
Olympics. One report states that the
interest with which these have been received
is a joy to behold and our prayers are
coveted.
JAPAN
Ken and
Christine Cowell (Kushiro) say they
had a really good
Bible Camp
last week and felt that many of the
young people were blessed through the
messages and fellowship. Also, they have
heard that
Mrs. Nakajima professed faith in the
Lord on Sunday. Give thanks for this answer
to prayer
and pray
that she will grow spiritually.
ARGENTINA
Please
pray
for all aspects of a gospel campaign called
Echoes of
Eternity, which will impact some of
Argentina’s cities.
Pray,
too, that assembly members will become
actively involved (see
the August Monthly Missionary Prayer
Newsletter).
FRANCE
Allan and
Anne Kitt (Villefranche-sur-Saône)
report that the assembly will be focusing on
relational aspects for the next few weeks
and prayer
is requested that the teaching from God’s
Word will result in lives that are more
Christ-like.
Pray, too, for the unsaved who will
be attending services, that they will
realise that the way to start improving
relationships is to be reconciled to God.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Please
pray for
the
Drum
Activity Week, which started last Monday,
18th August.
Noel and Liza McMeekin
will be involved in this, so our
prayers
for them and the children who attend would
be much appreciated.

Hampshire
for a Children’s Bible Club Week
from 23rd—29th, and would value prayer
