Please pray
for Ken Cowell (Kushiro), who was
taken to hospital over last weekend after
complaining of chest pains and is being kept
in for observation and tests. He and
Christine had recently come to the UK to
welcome their new grandson.
David
and Esther Dexter (Miyazaki)
are grateful to those who prayed for
their Christmas service last Sunday. Give
thanks that the meeting was well supported
and some good conversations took place over
the meal afterwards. Pray that God
will continue to work in the hearts of those
who attended.
ARGENTINA
Heber and Fiona
Gallitto (Parana) ask us to pray
for their assembly outreach over the holiday
period. They hope to go out to different
parks and beaches in the afternoons to
preach and sing in the open air. Pray
also for two teenage boys, Marcos and
Kevin, who are due to be baptised on
29th December.
BRAZIL
Chrissie
McSorley (Sacramento) advises that the
crèche is preparing for the annual festa on
20th December. This is a time when
the hall is overflowing with parents and
relatives of the children taking part, so
please pray that the message of
Christmas will speak into their hearts. The
message will be given by a young man from
the area; please pray that he will be
helped as he prepares and delivers the talk.
FRANCE
Alison Packer
(Laval) was due to have further surgery last
Monday to repair a stenosis (narrowing of a
blood vessel). Please pray for a
successful outcome, and remember also
Mike and all the family during this
difficult time.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Colin Sheldon
(Dublin) will be speaking at the family
service to be held in the assembly on
Christmas Day. In recent years there have
been good numbers attending, so please
pray that the Lord will bless this
occasion.
ITALY
Robert and
Muriel Hamilton (Naples) request
prayer for a public reading of the Bible
in the piazza during the Christmas period.
Pray for those who will listen.
