RWANDA
An
update from
Chrissie Mulindabigwi (Kigali)
mentions that the situation in
Goma
is being monitored closely and help is being
given where possible. This week the team
will spend two days in the
Ingarama
camp (Rwanda), where there are two churches,
and where all the refugees entering
Rwanda
are placed. As the transit camp is near the
Congo border, the refugees can only stay for
up to ten days before being moved on.
JAPAN
Ken and
Christine Cowell (Kushiro) request
prayer
for Miss
Noda, who was so impressed by a
gospel concert held a few weeks ago at a
local community centre that she attended the
next gospel practice. She also went to the
church on the 9th and is showing interest in
knowing more about God. She has previously
attended the Mormon Church, so please
pray
that she will come to understand true faith.
In addition, there will be a craft meeting
for ladies this Saturday, followed by a
short message. On Sunday, an English service
will be held. Recently, the number attending
has increased. Please
pray
that God will speak to many hearts through
these events.
PHILIPPINES
Please
pray
for Jonathan

students at
Christ’s Commission Fellowship
each
Wednesday evening
and Saturday

Port Alberni,
Vancouver Island, BC for a two week
children's series from
17th - 28th

pray that the local community will
respond favourably and that the saints will
have the encouragement of seeing many new
recruits join their Sunday School.
FRANCE
Mike and
Alison Packer (Laval) say that
Lara
is now at home in a special hospital bed.
She is paralysed except for one arm. She has
physiotherapy twice a day to help her
breathing and two nurses also attend her.
She is fed through a tube. Her bodily
functions are gradually shutting down and
blindness will probably follow. The doctors
warn that she could go into a coma. For the
moment she still recognises the family and
occasionally smiles. She is peaceful and
doesn’t appear to be suffering. It is the
family’s prayer that she will be able to
remain at home. Someone in the family sits
with her night and day, so she is never
alone. Please
pray
that the Lord will be very close to this
family and that He will call
Lara
home in peace and with the family present.
They are grateful for your
prayers.
Please also uphold in
prayer
the extended family and
Mike and
Alison’s neighbours.
Pray
for opportunities to bring God’s love and
comfort to them.
Gerry and
Dorothy Seed (Nantes) would
appreciate
prayer for a special meeting on
21st
November at the city hall regarding
the building of a new meeting place in
Nantes
East. Please
pray for the Lord to go before them.
ITALY
Naples: Six
