where
Rodney is to be one of the speakers
at a conference for believers.
Prayer
is requested for safety in travel, and that
the ministry would be a blessing and a help
to those attending.
JAPAN
Ken and
Christine Cowell (DPG 1972-2009)
would value
prayer for a
Japanese
Gospel meeting at
Milton
Keynes on 23rd
September.
David and
Esther Dexter (Miyazaki) - ask
prayer
for a new prisoner’s class starting on the
21st
September. Pray that
David
will be able to communicate something
meaningful, as this one is a compulsory
attendance class for the prisoners, at
which ‘religion’ or reference to God is not
allowed.
PAKISTAN
Liz Grieg (DPG
1981-2011) and Ann Hughes (DPG 1969-1996)
are preparing for a trip to Pakistan
leaving the UK 26th September.
They will travel to Multan for a short stay,
Liz
will then travel to
Kunhar
Christian Hospital to join in
celebrations of 25 years since the work
began there, and
Ann
to
Faisalabad, returning to the UK
25th
October. They ask
prayer
for safety and wisdom as they move around
the country, good health and that they will
both be a blessing and encouragement to
those they meet.
PERU
Luis
and Anne-laure Mostacero (Trujillo)- Prayer
would be appreciated for
Luis
as he begins teaching a new course at the
Institute beginning
17th
September.
Anne-laure
is organizing the ladies annual
retreat taking place
21-23rd
September, the subject being “Teach
me how to pray", and she would value
prayer
for this.
FRANCE
Chris &
Michelle Hall (Chateau Gontier) ask
prayer
for a meeting due to take place on
22nd
September with the council, in
response to a request for a room in the town
to use as a permanent basis, which would
give them more visible presence in the
town. Pray
that there will be a positive outcome from
the council.
NORWAY
Margaret
Hewitt (DPG 1973-2004) will resume
Sunday School on
23rd
September after the summer break.
Pray
for Margaret
as she brings the Gospel to these children,
and that those who attend will listen and
understand. In addition, she would value
prayer
for her sons,
Graham,
who had a hospital consultation
14th
September to decide the way forward
regarding the cyst he has on his spinal
cord, and for
Eric
who suffers with depression.
SPAIN
Ken
and Carmen Stunt (Almazan) would
value prayer
for wisdom as they organize and lead another
‘School for
Parents’ session planned for
22nd
September, during which those
attending can offer questions and testify to
aspects of their own experiences.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Colin and
Rosemary Sheldon (Dublin) -
Pray
for the commencement of ‘Bible
Explorer’ within the schools
beginning 17th
September.
At present, 20 Primary Schools in Dublin are
opening their doors for
Colin
to teach this programme during the new
School year.
LOCAL
"Coffee
and Chat" - an informal meeting, on a
Wednesday morning at 10:30 am.
John Wallace
(Hartlepool) is planned to be with us
on Sunday evening for preaching of the
Gospel.
