ZAMBIA
Barry &
Rachel Haigh. The young people’s camp
is now over. We are not sure how many
children we have had at this camp, we guess
around
3,000. Less than the 5,000 anticipated but
still an enormous crowd. We are so thankful
for the smaller number, it is not easy
controlling so many children. The noise was
at times deafening! A joyful noise that is.
These children have no inhibitions and even
quite small ones are all quite happy to lead
the congregation in prayer and worship. They
love singing and so we have had a chorus of
songs all day long. There are several
leaders for smaller groups.
Rachel's
small group is about 200 teenagers 15-17 yrs
old. One group has come about 350 miles, way
out in the bush on the Zambezi river.
The trial with
regards to ownership of the
Nyangombe
Bible School property began on the
Tuesday, the
16th August. The outcome is committed
to the Lord.
