You may remember
a Mr Saito,
for whom Ken
and Christine Cowell (Kushiro) have
been requesting
prayer.
Give thanks that he has professed faith and
is showing signs of spiritual growth. His
father is a Jehovah’s Witness, so do
pray
that God will keep Mr Saito and that his
testimony will speak to his father.
BRAZIL
Allan
Crawford was called Home last Monday
(09/03/09) morning. Please remember his wife
Geralda,
his parents
James and Jenny, and all the family
in your
prayers at this time.
Jenny
is currently recovering from cataract
surgery, so special
prayer
is requested for her. The funeral is
expected to take place within the next day
or so.
Harry Reid’s
surgery went well and he is now
convalescing at home.
Harry
and Jean
are grateful for your
prayers
and we are asked to continue to remember
them as the healing process begins. Whilst
they were in Dublin they made some new
contacts, so pray that seeds sown will grow
and bear fruit.
PANAMA
Give thanks that
Hazel
Walker’s wound is healing well and
that she has clear test results. It will
take three months for the swelling to
subside. Please
pray
for continued recovery; she expects to have
returned to Panama on
10th March.
FRANCE
Chris and
Michelle Hall will be leading and
providing the music for a young people’s
hymn singing evening, to be held on
14th March.
The invited speaker is a young man who has a
gift for communicating with young people.
Last year’s event saw 200 young folk
attending, so this year they are hoping for
even more.
Valerie Kyle
(Dunkerque) and several other ladies
are organising a special evening with a meal
for Christian ladies on
13th March.
The theme of the evening is ‘An
outstretched hand - Is it possible to stand
when we have to face situations that are
pushing into the pit?’ based on
Psalm 40
verse 3. Between 30 and 40 ladies are
expected to be present.
Gerry and
Dorothy Seed (Nantes) ask for
prayer
for three British language students who
attended a showing of the film ‘The
Hope’ at
Nantes East
at the end of February. These girls
have little knowledge of the Bible but
seemed to appreciate the evening. They ask
us to pray
also for such future events, the first of
which will be held on
13th March.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
David and
Kay Stevens (Castleconnel) have
recently started teaching a

their Postal

in Newcastle
and Bray
on 10th March,
Port

Jennifer
Zucchetto (Northern Ireland) is
organising a special women’s outreach at
Fuorigrotta.
Please pray
that many will attend and hear the message
of salvation. On
15th,
an International Evening will be held at the
hall. Pray
that many non-Christians will go along to
listen to the gospel.
