ZAMBIA
Amanda Kirk
(Chingola) is making steady but slow
progress from surgery following the vehicle
accident in April. Her head wound has
healed, but she still has some back pain and
does not yet have full movement in two
fingers. She has physiotherapy twice a week.

the court case concerning ownership of the

Jonathan
Edwards, aged 20, commended from
Stockton,
has recently arrived in Cambodia to begin a
period of short-term service, working with
Glenn and
Siobhan Miles (Phnom Penh) with
street children.

for his protection, guidance and provision.

He returns to the UK on 25th August.
ARGENTINA
Pray
for Bobby
Jack (Buenos Aires) as he travels 900
km north to speak at the annual conference
in Beltran
from 9th to
11th July. He will give ministry on
the subject of Solomon’s Temple, using the
model he has built.
BAHAMAS
Pray for
Mark and
Carol Lacey as they return to the
Bahamas to continue work at
The Haven. Both of them have health
issues and are concerned about the
excessive heat and humidity in
Nassau.
Give thanks for answered
prayer,
that those who maintained the work in their
absence were helped and blessed by the Lord.
ECUADOR
Christine
Fenning (Ipswich) has recently
returned to Ecuador for a further period of
service. She hopes to retire next April and
requests
prayer that a replacement will be
found to run the
Emmaus
work in
Santo Domingo.
PERU
From
9th-10th
July,
Luis Mostacero (Trujillo) and a group
of men from the church will be away on a
retreat. This is the first time they have
organised a men’s retreat and they are
praying
that many will attend and be challenged by
the Word of God.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Andrew and
Lorna Burt and the church in
Enniscorthy
are currently preparing for the GLO team
planned for
7th-21st August. In addition to the
week-long children’s club, they are
organising a youth club, a men’s night, an
over-60s afternoon tea and a family fun day.
They will also be distributing 4,000
magazines.
Pray that these two weeks will be an
effective outreach into the community.
MACEDONIA
Olive Wilson
(Bitola) has had to leave Macedonia
after a three-month spell due to visa
regulations. She has applied for a six-month
visa and is waiting to hear from the
embassy.
Pray that this will be granted.
SPAIN
Pray
for Ken
Barrett (Madrid) as he gives a
seminar on ‘The
Biblical Basis of Ethics – Contemporary
Issues’ at a summer school in Madrid
on 9th July.
The 20 or so students are those who are
training as teachers of Evangelical
Religious Education in Spanish state
schools.
FINALLY
Sam Balmer,
who works with the Postal Bible School, is
in Romania all this week for the Romanian
Postal Bible School junior camp.
Pray
for him as he speaks to the children each
day.
LOCAL
Coffee

An open air
witness is planned in Redcar High Street on
Sunday, at 2:00 pm.
John Hall (Harrogate) is planned to be
with us for the preaching of the Gospel on
Sunday at 6:30 pm.
