SOUTH AFRICA
Rodney and
Joy Brown (Cape Town) -
Rodney
has been invited to preach the Gospel for a
week at
Hawston, commencing on the
9th
September. He is to be staying in the
area and also hopes to preach in the open
air and distribute literature on the
streets.
Prayer is requested for a time of
blessing.
TANZANIA
Ron
and Maria Cunningham (Moshi) would
value prayer
for the re-commencement of the school
classes and the opportunity for sharing the
Word of God. During the past few months they
have been able to sell 160 Bibles at a
reduced price to the students. In addition
they give thanks that
Maria's
health has shown some improvement and ask
pray
that this will continue.
ZAMBIA
Paul and
Angela Hannay (Kalene) ask
prayer
for safety in travel as they return to the
UK for furlough on
Wednesday 5th
September.
Pray
for Dr John
and
Rachel Woodfield (from New Zealand)
as they leave
Kalene
after working 5 years at the
hospital,
and for Dr
Roger and
Rita Holland
who will take over. The new theatre has now
been completed and there will be an official
opening on
Wednesday 5th
September.
JAPAN
Ronnie
and Anne Cairns (Ashiya) would value
prayer
as they prepare to travel to Japan for 2
months, leaving the UK on 18th
September.
Their visit will include teaching and
ministry in various places and taking part
in Gospel outreach.
Pray
for them in their busy schedule, that they
would be a blessing and encouragement to all
the believers they meet.
David and
Esther Dexter (Miyazaki) - David (right)
is
planned to visit the prison on
4th
September for Bible Study and on
21st
September for a new prisoner’s
class. Pray
that during this class (21st)
David
will be able to communicate something
meaningful, as this one is a compulsory
attendance class where ‘religion’ or
reference to God is not allowed.
FRANCE
Chris and
Michelle Hall (Chateau-Gontier) ask
prayer
for a meeting due to take place on
22nd
September with the council, in
response to a request for a room in the town
to use as a permanent basis, which would
give them more visible presence in the
town. Pray
that there will be a positive outcome from
the council.
PORTUGAL
Colin and
Grace Lovell (DPG Portugal 1968-2011)
ask prayer
for the
Aguas Vivas Church in Portugal, where
believers have just begun working amongst
needy children and their families in the
area. Pray
that the Lord will give them wisdom and
understanding, and that these families will
come to know Christ.

and Chat" - an informal meeting, on a
Wednesday morning at 10:30 am

to Yew Tree
Care Centre is scheduled for this
Sunday at 5:15 pm. Please remember in
prayer.

Gibson (Harrogate) is planned to be
with us for the preaching of the Gospel at
6:30 pm.
