Jones (Harare) advises that a couple
from his Thursday night Bible study group
were attacked by robbers outside their home
last Monday. They were both stabbed and the
wife later died in hospital. The husband,
who is in his 60s, had just had surgery to
remove a brain tumour. Please
pray
for him and his family. One of his daughters
is caring for him.
PAKISTAN
Pray
for those who have been affected by the
recent floods in north-west Pakistan. Echoes
is not in direct contact with any workers in
that area of Pakistan, but we are following
up our contacts in the country and funds are
available to be sent once we have more
information.

involved in a two-week camp this month.

will lead the children’s ministries and
Brigitte
will be cooking for over 160 people.

for renewed strength, as they are both
feeling quite tired at present.

Shirley McKillen (Gorey) will be
helping with a holiday Bible club organised

Wicklow Christian Assembly.

ITALY

young people’s camp in

starting on Saturday.

that he will be able to make the most of the
opportunity to get to know these young folk
and help them with their problems.
ROMANIA
Sam Balmer,
who works with the
Postal Bible
School, is in Romania all this week
for the
Romanian Postal Bible School senior
camp. Pray for him as he speaks to the
children each day.
GLO
Please remember
the GLO team
outreaches taking place in the Republic of
Ireland this month. These are in
Limerick
from 7th to 14th August and in
Enniscorthy
from 7th to 21st. Pray that the team members
will be kept in good health and be effective
in their witness.
French national
worker
Philippe Perrilliat is leading the
GLO team
in Madagascar this week. Pray for these 24
young people as they engage in various forms
of evangelism among children and adults.
LOCAL
Coffee
and Chat each Wednesday morning at 10:30
am. This is an informal time for making
friends with the "neighbours". Please
pray that the Lord will bless these
times.
Robert Plant
(Harrogate) is planned to be with us
for the preaching of the Gospel on Sunday
evening at 6:30 pm. Please

that the Lord will use the occasion to
bring precious souls to Himself.
The visit of the
Tall Ships
to
Hartlepool (7th—10th
August) is giving the Hartlepool
Assembly a unique opportunity to witness in
a “big way”. It is planned that 40,000 John
Gospels and other literature will be given
to visitors. Over 50,000 Gospels and tracts
have already been distributed to each house
in the town. Try and get along to Victoria
Harbour, Hartlepool, if you can, and
remember
daily in
prayer.
