Prayer Requests for Week Commencing    02 - 05 - 2011

The following information comes mainly from the Echoes weekly prayer bulletin and further details can be found on their web site. Other prayer requests have come from direct communication with the missionary involved.  The prayer requests listed here are, as far as is sensibly practical, for activities that are happening on the particular week. A list of previous weekly Missionary Prayer requests can be found here.

The Assembly also, most months, publishes a monthly Missionary Prayer Newsletter, for prayer requests on a longer time-scale. Click here for the last monthly prayer newsletter.

ZAMBIA

Update on David Lukama and those injured in recent car accident:

Maria Mwape – is in hospital in Lusaka. She is still unconscious though the doctors think the swelling in her brain has gone down a little.

David has had successful surgery. He is able to talk and might be released from hospital in a couple of weeks.

Gift has been moved to the Italian hospital in Lusaka where specialists will be able to assess what damage has been done to his spine.

Alessandro has been experiencing more pain, though this might be partly due to shock. In an answer to prayer his passport, laptop and other possessions have been recovered.

PANAMA

Clive and Hazel Walker (Santiago) request prayer for the provision of a minibus, making one journey possible to bring everyone to the meetings instead of 2-3 trips.
