REPUBLIC OF
SOUTH AFRICA
Rodney Brown
(Cape Town) has been invited by the
Elsies River Assembly to preach the gospel
at a local care centre on three Tuesdays in
September. He has been there before and
quite a few people have listened. Please
pray
that he will be helped as he prepares and
shares the Lord’s message with the folk
there, and for blessing to follow.
ZAMBIA
Please
pray
for the Lord’s comfort for national worker
Kelvin
Samwata, whose younger brother passed
away on 23rd August. One of his sisters, who
is a believer, is also seriously ill and
needs our
prayers.
BRAZIL
Please
pray for
Jonathan Watson (son of
Jeff)
who is flying to England on
3rd
September.
Pray
for him as he considers his future service
for the Lord. His wife
Viviane
and son
Filipe will stay in
Recife
till later in the year, so please pray for
them in
Jonathan’s absence. On the same day,
Jeff
is travelling to speak at a conference in
Uberlandia,
returning on
8th. Please
pray
for guidance and also for
Denise
and David
who remain at home in
Foz.
FRANCE
Ian Newberry
requests
prayer for their local church in
Pierrelatte.
Baptisms will be taking place shortly, and
work on a new extension to the building has
been started. Please
pray
that those being baptised will continue to
grow in the Lord, and that the church will
see the Lord’s provision for the building
project.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
With the start of
the new term this week,
Colin
Sheldon (Dublin) will be visiting
primary schools with the
Bible
Explorer programme again. Please
pray
that the doors will remain open for this
work, and that much blessing will result.
Rosemary
will be restarting the ladies’ Bible studies
before the end of September.
Pray
for this group of ladies, who are keen to
study the Scriptures.
GLO
Please remember
the GLO
teams in
Italy
(Potenza), which runs from
30th
August-13th September; at Avellino,
(6th-15th September) and
Peru
(Trujillo/Chilete, 6th-20th September).
Pray
for safety of travel and good health for
team members, as well as for good working
relationships.
Pray,
too, for God’s blessing on the various
outreach activities taking place.

Sunday,7th Sept. at 5:00 pm.

witness continues at 5:30 pm on
Sundays.
