ETHIOPIA
Please
pray
for Robert
and Sheena Revie as they make their
annual visit to Ethiopia
on 1st
March. They return to the UK on 15th
April. Please
pray
that they will keep well, and that their
visit will be an encouragement and blessing
to the believers they meet.
PAKISTAN
Ann Hughes
is making a return visit to Pakistan, where
she served from 1969-1996. She is due to
leave on
28th February and plans to return on
3rd April. The highlight of the trip will be
the opening of the new boys’ hostel in
Faisalabad
on 28th
March, as it is just a year since
Ann
was there to lay the foundation brick.
Please pray
that she will be kept safe as she travels
around and that she will be an encouragement
and a blessing to those she visits.
Pray,
too, for help with her various speaking
engagements.
REPUBLIC OF
IRELAND
Noel and
Liza McMeekin continue their
Postal Bible
School prize givings this week in
Edgeworthstown and
Cootehill.
Not so far to travel this week, but please
pray
for safety on the roads, nevertheless,
especially during the hours of darkness, for
God’s presence at the meetings and for help
for the speakers as they seek to make the
gospel message known to many who are not
used to hearing it.
TURKEY
Last Thursday 21st
Derek
Malcolm travelled to
Istanbul,
where he has been involved in Bible teaching
over the last few days. He moved on to
Ankara
on Monday 25th where he will be teaching
Biblical Ethics at a discipleship training
course, finishing on
29th.
He returns to the UK on
3rd March.
Please pray
for safety whilst in the country and that
his ministry will be a blessing and an
encouragement to the believers he meets.
Please also remember the third hearing of
the Malatya
murder trial scheduled for
25th
February,
praying
particularly for the two widows.
LOCAL
Please continue to
pray
for the outreach through the Coffee
Morning. Please pray that if it
is the Lord's will, this informal time
together will be used by Him to bring real
blessing to those living in the locality of
the Gospel Hall.
David
Cartwright is responsible for the
preaching of the
Gospel
on Sunday evening, 2nd March.
