BRAZIL

Senior workers Harry and Jean Reid travelled to Brazil for three months on the 2nd March. They plan to visit believers in the Amazon regions of Manaus and Santarem. Pray for a time of mutual encouragement and blessing.

CHILE

Please pray for all those who have lost loved ones or possessions as a result of the recent earthquake in Chile.

HAITI

Please continue to pray for those who are suffering and for the Christian workers who are seeking to help them.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Please pray for Noel and Liza McMeekin (Drum) as they continue with the Postal Bible School prize-givings. They will be in Swords and Edgeworthstown on Friday. Pray for safety in travel and that the Lord will speak to the parents and children on these occasions.

Andrew and Gillian Shanks (Newcastle West) have been encouraged by the spiritual growth of two men in their fellowship. One is a Nigerian called Joseph and the other a Polish man called Gregor. Joseph spoke at the midweek meeting for the first time last week, and Gregor spoke at the Sunday evening service. Pray for these men, who have only been saved in the last four years.

SPAIN

Ken and Alison Barrett (Madrid) request prayer for their dealings with the regional and city authorities as they plan for a Public Reading of the Bible on 13th March and an Easter Day celebration in the open air on 4th April. Pray that these initiatives will be given enough credit to be advertised publicly in Alcalá by the city authorities, despite their lack of sympathy with evangelicals.
